Cosmetic Ingredient

The Food & Healthcare Department holds four major cosmetic ingredients: Vitamin E, sucrose fatty acid esters (Surfhobe series), polyvinyl alcohol (Gosenol EG series), and erythritol.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E (tocopherol) is a fat-soluble vitamin with antioxidant properties and is widely used as a cosmetic ingredient. It helps reduce oxidative stress on the skin, promotes blood circulation, and contributes to moisturization. It also serves as an additive to prevent oxidation of other ingredients.

Polyvinyl alcohol (Gosenol EG series)

Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is a water-soluble polymer compound widely used in cosmetics as a film-forming agent and thickener.It also has an amphiphilic structure and serves as an emulsification aid.With excellent film-forming ability, it is widely used in skincare and makeup products.
